Next season, Go Ahead Eagles will play in Stanno uniforms. At home in the familiar red and yellow jersey and away in purple. ‘Our partner YouFocus surprised us with a fantastic design for the back number,’ said Brian Visser, Sales Marketing of Go Ahead Eagles. ‘It is a unique Go Ahead Eagles back number. The numbers symbolise our culturally rich club that takes on a new challenge full on and does not shy away from it, we deliver battle.’
The curves in the numbers are based on the curves of the Eagle’s wings which stands for the character of Go Ahead Eagles. The wing is reflected in a recess in the number, which literally gives the players wings! ‘When we walk onto the pitch we are already 1-0 up. The uniform, our mindset, it all comes together.’
YouFocus was chosen for its unique design and the fact that the transfers are indestructible, washable at high temperatures, tumble-dry resistant and iron-on.
